We are well into our second week of school with the kids as so far things are going great. We found some extra curricular activites for them recently.
Keira is taking gymnastics class on Saturday mornings. She was incredibly excited to be in classes again. The gym is ok, much smaller than the one in Ohio, but the class is a good size and the teacher is nice. Keira had fun showing off a bit on the bars - our little monkey just can't resist!
Haley started ballet classes last night. She's been asking for this for quite a while so she is, of course, very excited too. Actually Keira was excited also and was very disappointed when we couldn't watch the class as it was happening (very small lobby with a cloudy window). They came home and put on costumes and played ballet recital at home!
On Monday afternoon we took the kids to an Atlanta Braves baseball game. We went with a group of fellow "Panicfreaks" to see John Bell sing the National Anthem before the game. It was a beautiful day to be sitting outside in the sun. The Braves lost (which I hear they do a lot of these days) but we still had a grand time visiting with new friends!
